mongolia

Mongolia is a landlocked country in East and Central Asia. At 1,564,116 square kilometers, Mongolia is the nineteenth largest and most sparsely populated independent country in the world, with a population of around 2.9 million people. It borders Russia to the north and People's Republic of China to the south, east and west. Ulan Bator, the capital and largest city, is home to about 38% of the population. Mongolia's political system is a parliamentary republic. Mongolia is high, cold, and windy. It has an extreme continental climate with long, cold winters and short summers, during which most of its annual precipitation falls. Approximately 30% of the country's 2.9 million people are nomadic or semi-nomadic. The predominant religion in Mongolia is Tibetan Buddhism. Mongolians have got rich culture and history. They proud of Great Mongolia, especially Chinggis Khaan. Mongolians are short, of medium build, strong; warm hearted, friendly, patriot and serious people. They have got small brown eyes, light brown skin, black hair and big chicks. In the Mongolians history all Mongolians live in ger during a lot of year. Mongolia has become more urbanized. About 40 percent of the population lives in Ulaanbaatar alone, and a further 23% lived in Darkhan, Erdenet, the aimag centers and sum-level permanent settlements. Another share of the population lives in the sum centers. During the Mongolians life there are two different groups of food, “white foods” and “red foods”. “White foods” are usually dairy products and the main food source during the summer. The Mongolians rarely drink milk fresh but often use it to create other foods, including cheese and yogurt. “Red foods” are usually meat and the main food source during the winter. Before “Tsagaan Sar” what Mongolians traditional holiday they make a lot of buuz then they offer food guests by buuz. The main festival is Naadam, which has been organized for centuries, consists of three Mongolian traditional sports, archery, horse-racing and wrestling. These three sports, traditionally recognized as the three primary masculine activities, are the most widely watched and practiced sports throughout the country.Mongolia has got wonderful, wild nature, big steppes, beautiful mountains, fresh lakes, rivers rich strong culture and history. Mongolians are warm-hearted, seriously and really patriot people. I love Mongolia.
